David de Gea has reportedly rejected the chance to join former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.
De Gea, 33, has been without a club since leaving Manchester United in the summer after a breakdown in negotiations over a new contract.
The Spaniard was allowed to depart Old Trafford at the end of his deal after 12 years at the club.
He was subsequently replaced as No 1 by Andre Onana, who has struggled for consistency since joining from Inter Milan.
De Gea is yet to decide his next move and has been linked with several clubs.
He has reportedly held talks with Spanish second division side Eldens but no agreement has been reached.

The former Spain international has also been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al Hilal reportedly interested.
The Sun has also reported that De Gea has turned down a huge contract offer from Ronaldo's Saudi team, Al Nassr.
He is believed to have rejected a £500,000-a-week contract offer from the Saudi club.
It is claimed that he has snubbed the chance to Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia as his wife, Edurne Garcia Almagro, is not interested in moving to the country.
There is a chance, however, that De Gea could join Ronaldo's great rival Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
The MLS side are said to be interested in the Spaniard, while a move to the United States does hold some 'appeal' to the goalkeeper.
In addition to Messi, Inter Miami also have De Gea's former Spain team-mates Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets on their books.
Rumours have also circulated which claim De Gea could make a shock return to United as back-up for Onana, who is expected to compete at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with Cameroon next year.
The tournament is set to take place between January 13 and February 11.
United bought Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce for £4.3m in the summer and also still have Tom Heaton in their squad.
But manager Erik ten Hag may look to bring back De Gea to provide cover on a short-term deal.
