Raphael Varane has already made his feelings clear on a move to Bayern Munich.
France World Cup winner Varane joined United in 2021 for £42million from Real Madrid and went on to form a solid centre-back partnership with Lisandro Martinez last season.
However, this term United boss Erik ten Hag has consistently opted to leave out the four-time Champions League winner, sparking speculation the pair have fallen out.
Indeed, the Dutchman has picked the likes of Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and 35-year-old Jonny Evans ahead of the Frenchman in recent months.
In turn, Sky Sports Germany has claimed Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have internally discussed bringing the “unhappy” 30-year-old to the Allianz Arena.
Varane would allegedly be available for as little as between £17.5million to £26.2million. However, the stumbling block to any deal could be Varane’s £340,000-a-week wages.

While a move to the Bavarian giants is likely to be an enticing prospect, in the past Varane has insisted he would only leave United to re-join Madrid or Ligue 1 side Lens, where he first played competitive football.
Varane told GQ France: "I will finish my career either in Madrid, or in Manchester, or in Lens. I will not move to another club [other than those].
"But Madrid seems complicated to me. Players don’t usually go back there. The most likely outcome today is that I will finish [my club career] in either Manchester or Lens."
If Varane is to finish his career at United he will need to return to the United XI. Ten Hag has already insisted benching the World Cup winner is not the result of a fallout but merely a tactical decision.
The former Ajax boss said: “It is about tactical reasons why I chose these partnerships. I think Harry and Jonny did well.
“What I said last year, Harry didn’t play a lot, so I was very happy with Rapha’s performances. I have always been happy with his performance.
“But in this moment, Harry is playing very well and there is internal competition.”
