Trent Alexander-Arnold 'leaks' embarrassing photo of England teammate James Maddison

A video has resurfaced of Trent Alexander-Arnold leaking an embarrassing photo of England teammate James Maddison after the Tottenham midfielder's social media jibe.

Taking to Instagram during the international break, the Spurs midfielder posted a picture of himself smiling at Alexander-Arnold, who appears to be complaining about something or other.

Maddison captioned the story: "Still asking for a replay," accompanied by the sleeping, laughing face and heart emoji.

Seemingly in retaliation, Liverpool fans have re-shared a video of Alexander-Arnold mocking the 26-year-old for his FIFA skills, newly rebranded as EA Sports FC.

In a clip posted on Sports Direct Football's TikTok account, Maddison was playing the 'pass the phone game' while away on international duty, and took aim at his compatriot. You can watch the video below.

He said: "I am passing the phone to someone who I used to absolutely slap about on FIFA with the England Under-21s."

Alexander-Arnold was recorded reacting to the clip in a subsequent video, with the defender saying: "Madders is c**p on FIFA", before revealing he had an embarrassing photo of the former Leicester man.

"I've got a video. I haven't got my phone.

"I'll get a video. I've got him on his knees, saying he's sorry for challenging me.

"I swear I've got it. Let me see if I can get the vid," he added, before revealing a hilarious image of Maddison on his knees.

VAR took centre stage during Tottenham and Liverpool's Premier League clash after Luis Diaz had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp subsequently demanding the match be replayed.

PGMOL chief Howard Webb has since broken his silence on the incident, outlining his plan to prevent such errors occurring in the future.
