An X-rated kit once featured in FIFA Ultimate Team and nobody knew

EA Sports FC 24 has officially been released worldwide on Friday 29 September, with the post-FIFA era well and truly upon us.
Previous games in the extremely popular FIFA franchise have been wiped from existence as every single FIFA game has been taken off the online stores on various consoles.
Unless you already have the game digitally, the only way you can play past FIFAs is if you have EA Play.

But you can't just forget history and we're here to remind you of some of the most bizarre things to happen in FIFA.
And one detail we can't just skip past is the fact that there was an X-rated kit in Ultimate Team.
The kit in question is the black Catfish and the Bottlemen themed strip which was part of the special edition artists FUT kits pack that was available to all those who pre-ordered FIFA 18.
British rock band 'Catfish', spearheaded by lead singer Van McCann, have been synonymous with the FIFA series, having had their songs 'Cocoon' and 'Postpone' on FIFA 15 and FIFA 17 respectively.
They are very much still represented on this game, but EA must have failed to spot that on the sleeves on the Catfish special kit, is two people messing with one-another's private parts.
The image is actually the artwork for 'The Balcony', the band's debut album released in September 2014. The crocodile, which acts as the badge on the kit, is the logo for their second album, 'The Ride' - though fortunately there's nothing shady about that.
The PEGI rating on all the FIFA games and now the first EA Sports FC has always been three and so the image of fondling isn't exactly suitable.
At the time, there was plenty of reaction from fans in the FIFA subreddit.
One said: "Well there's a little bit wrong with it in a game that's supposedly safe to play."
A second commented: "I get that it's the album cover but it's still funny and stupid by EA."
A third added: "Yet every other permutation of letters is an 'inappropriate' team name according to EA.
A fourth stated: "I used to see that jersey all the time!! Never noticed the hand in pants tho."
