WWE Hall of Famer 'Sunny' faces 'up to 25 years in prison' after role in fatal car crash

Tammy Sytch, a former WWE superstar, is facing up to 25 years in prison after she was involved in a fatal car-crash, say reports.

The 50-year-old, who is best known as "Sunny", has pleaded guilty to multiple charges after her Mercedes Benz crashed into the rear of a Kia Sorento, which was stopped at a red traffic light.

Julian Lafrancis Lasseter Jr, 75, was immediately rushed to hospital after his car was hit in Ormond Beach, Florida but tragically, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Sytch, who was driving without a valid licence at the time, was declared a 'danger to society' earlier this year as she pleaded no contest to a felony charge of DUI causing death.

Toxicology tests revealed her blood-alcohol level was three-and-a-half times above the lawful limit.

Now, the former wrestler will be sentenced at 9am on November 27th as she faces a maximum sentence of 25 years.

Sytch pleaded guilty to numerous charges including: DUI causing death (DUI Manslaughter); causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked licence; four counts of DUI causing injury; and three counts of DUI causing property damage.

Sytch had also been driving at a high rate of speed before the collision, according to police report.

In a sentencing memorandum filed on September 26, Florida State Attorney RJ Larizza said Sytch poses a 'threat to society".

"By continuously driving under the influence without a valid license, the Defendant has demonstrated a wanton disregard for the law and a clear refusal to abide by the law. The State believes that the maximum sentence is the only way to protect the community from the Defendant's repetitive and dangerous actions."
