WBC champion Tyson Fury has insisted that he will be going on a ‘social media blackout’ as he enters his training camp amid his rivalry with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has been out of the squared circle since his one-sided victory over Derek Chisora in their trilogy fight last December at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 34-year-old Brit superstar’s path for a unification bout remains open, despite an official fight with unified champion Usyk not being officially announced.
Fury has engaged in a heated war of words with Usyk, who called the bluff of the ‘Gypsy King’ by agreeing to a 70-30 purse split for a heavyweight unification bout.

The WBC kingpin then went on to issue another ultimatum by calling for former undisputed cruiserweight champ Usyk to agree to withdraw the rematch clause from their contract negotiations.
Usyk brutally hit back at Fury and accused him of “whining and ducking” him, with the Ukrainian calling for him to vacate the WBC title if he doesn’t fight him.
Fury has since launched a scathing attack on a wide range of people, including talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan and heavyweight rival Usyk.
Now, the undefeated Manchester-born boxer has suggested he is still working towards a fight on 29th April, despite the Usyk clash not being announced.
Speaking to his Instagram followers (watch it in the video player above), Fury on Tuesday said: “Hi, guys, as fun as it’s been over the last few days terrorising Usyk and his team, tomorrow I’m gonna knuckle down into training camp and I’ll be doing a blackout as I always do on social media.
“Nav will be running my Instagram account, keeping it all updated on my training progress and how it’s all going.
“April 29th is definitely a worker, I will see you all on the night. Tune in, or be there or be square.
“This is the biggest fight in British boxing history, the fight of the century.
“Two undefeated world heavyweight champions throwing down to see who is the No 1 in the division -- the undisputed heavyweight championship on the line.
“Peace out, good training to Usyk... let the best man win.”
