Tyson Fury reveals he has bizarre phobia that is all his brother's fault

Tyson Fury has revealed that he has an unusual phobia - and it is all down to his brother.

Fury is currently the top boxing heavyweight on the planet, and hasn't lost any of his 34 professional fights.

He has defeated some of the biggest names in boxing, including Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko.

Away from boxing, Fury has even involved himself in WWE, and starred in his own Netflix documentary, titled 'At Home with the Furys', earlier this year.

When it comes to combat sports, therefore, there isn't anything that scares or intimidates the 'Gypsy King' once he steps inbetween the ropes.

However, ahead of his boxing crossover bout against MMA icon Francis Ngannou on Saturday, the 35-year-old has revealed that he does have a phobia of one thing.

It is not another boxer, though - rather a fear of worms.

The phobia dates back to his childhood, and is all down to his younger brother, Shane.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Fury said: "I have a phobia of worms. I am absolutely terrified of worms.

"It's because my little brother Shane used to fill my wellies up with worms.

"He used to pick out the biggest worms. I still have nightmares about it now, even when I see adult size welly boots.

"So, yeah I am absolutely terrified of worms."

Fury takes on Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday. The bout will be judged on the 10-point must scoring system, and will be a professional boxing contest.

Speaking ahead of the fight, the 35-year-old revealed he has plenty more bouts left in him before retirement - and is looking to sign a new 10-fight deal.

He explained (quotes via ESPN): "What else is there? I retire, plenty of money, plenty of achievement, whatever - [I'm] 35. What am I going to do?

"This makes me f***ing happy, fighting. This is all I've ever done and all that's ever made me happy. So it'd be stupid now to walk away from it when I'm making millions of dollars and getting loads of joy from it as well."
