Trent Alexander-Arnold 'set to earn incredible eight-figure sum' as new Adidas boot deal announced

Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to earn an eight-figure sum from a new boot deal with Adidas, it has been reported.

The 25-year-old notably stepped out on to the pitch at the Etihad Stadium in an unreleased pair of Adidas boots, leading to speculation that he had signed a deal with the boot manufacturers.

Alexander-Arnold has been with Under Armour since he began his professional career - but that is no longer the case.

The boots he wore on Saturday a pair of unreleased Predators.

It is claimed that the German company offered him a 'central role' as one of the faces of their marketing campaigns, and that he will be used in a 'big marketing push'.

The Reds star released a video on his official X (Twitter) account confirming the deal, with the caption: "I'm back."

Alexander-Arnold was named as the player of the match by Sky Sports for his performance in the 1-1 draw at City.

"You can see a few faces, and it's funny. But it was all about getting the job over the line and getting that point.

"There's been many times we've played a lot better against City and lost the game. So to come here and get the point is a good result for us, if I'm honest.

"It's something that we needed as a team. It instills that belief that even when we don't play well against the champions - they just won a treble last year and they're top of the league - if you can't play well and still get a point against them, we've done something right."
