On Saturday 18 March, TAB is hosting the ‘Big Day On’, which is a celebration of perhaps the greatest day on the sporting and racing calendar.
From the AFL season kicking off to an action-packed round of blockbuster NRL games, as well as Golden Slipper Day and the All Star Mile, all of Australia’s best games and races will be shown on the big screens inside three quality venues.
From 10am to 5pm, Brisbane’s QA Hotel, Melbourne’s Harp of Erin and - of course - the Steyne in Sydney will all play host to this huge day of sport, sport and more sport.
Across TAB’s 4000 locations, every pub will be jumping this Saturday so get down to your nearest local to join in the fun.
Throw in some live music, appearances from some rugby league greats, food and beverage as well as prize giveaways on offer and you’ve got all the ingredients for a cracker day.
And if you happen to be keen on a punt, you can find all the best tips for the day on the TAB app, which boasts exclusive markets and offers for racing and sport.

However, in the heart of Manly, there’s something extra special going on at The Steyne.
Punters will have the chance to win NBA store vouchers, tickets to Randwick for the Championship or a $1000 prize by simply stepping up to the plate in front of their pals at the pub.
All we ask is which sport-loving fan can hold on to the giant blow-up ball for the longest?
Yes, a select number of punters will be tasked with having their hand on the inflatable for as long as they can – the last one standing will be crowned the winner.
And with seven hours of sport and racing on the big screen behind you, you’ll be well occupied while desperately clinging onto that giant blow-up ball for dear life.
Besides, who doesn’t love watching sport and racing ALL DAY?
So, if you fancy your chances, make sure you get down to The Steyne early doors to register as there’s limited spots.
