The top 10 best sports movies of all time have been ranked by GQ, who threw up plenty of surprises.
Somehow none of the Goal! films made the cut in what is a disgrace to the legacy of Santiago Munez, while Escape to Victory, Any Given Sunday and the Michael Jordan film, Air, just miss out.
But GQ's list includes plenty of classics and is pretty strong overall:
10.Rush (2013)
The racing film starring Chris Hemsworth charters the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda back in the 1970s. Brad Pitt's pending Formula One film will have to be pretty good to beat Rush, directed by Ron Howard.
9.Warrior (2011)
Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton star as estranged brothers in the best MMA film of all time, which has an 8.1 rating on IMDB.
8.Creed (2015)
The Rocky spin off has become its own beast, charting the rise of Adonis Creed, son of Rocky's late rival Apollo. There have been three Creed films but the first, where Creed (Michael B .Jordan) faces 'Pretty' Ricky Conlan, played by Tony Bellew, at Goodison Park, is the best.
7.Million Dollar Baby (2004)
Another boxing film on the list, Clint Eastwood stars as a boxing trainer who meets an aspiring female boxer. Morgan Freeman is also among the cast.
6.Raging Bull (1980)
Robert De Niro won his only Oscar for his portrayal of former middleweight champion Jake LaMotta. Martin Scorsese perfectly captured the ugly world of professional boxing.
5.The Color of Money (1986)
Scorsese features again, this time with his sequel to The Hustler from 1961. Paul Newman and Tom Cruise paired together created magic.
4.Foxcatcher (2014)
The amateur wrestling film sees Steve Carell and Channing Tatum on screen together, as well as Mark Ruffalo. Foxcatcher is loosely based on the Olympic gold medal winning brothers Mark and David Schulz being recruited by John du Pont and the real-life tragedy which took place.
3.The Wrestler (2006)
Switching to professional wrestling, Mickey Rourke is the lead in a dark film which covers Randy ‘The Ram’ Robinson's loss of stardom and health in the cruel and unforgiving business.
2.Coach Carter (2005)
Samuel L. Jackson bosses it as the basketball coach at Richmond High School and it remains an absolute classic to this day.
1.Rocky (1976)
The absolute perfect depiction of an underdog who battled his way through hardships to achieve success. Sylvester Stallone's work with the Rocky character was so good that he was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.
