Everything you need to know as Royal Ascot continues to take centre stage
Dust off your top hats, one of the biggest weeks of the horse racing calendar continues as Royal Ascot takes centre stage.
In the heart of Berkshire, Royal Ascot hosts five huge days this week with over a quarter of a million racegoers set to pass through the gates for the pinnacle of flat racing.
Each day of the festival includes some tantalising races with the main attraction being on Thursday for the Gold Cup with big names like Coltrane, Trueshan and Broome and Eldar Eldarov all running.

Then on Saturday, the final day of the meeting features the massive £1m Group 1 Platinum Jubilee, one of the most exhilarating sprints in the sport.
It was also announced that this will be Frankie Dettori’s last Royal Ascot with the racing legend saying he’ll hang up his boots at the end of the racing season.
But it’s not all about the racing, you come for the races and stay for the experience. Royal Ascot is a showcase of horses, fashion and an incredible atmosphere.
With gates opening at 10:30 and the first race not until 14:30, you’ll have plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere which will include the Royal Procession at 14:00. Even after the last race at 18:10, the party still continues with singing around the bandstand meaning whilst the racing may have finished, the entertainment continues.
Whilst the action on the track will come from the thrilling horse racing, during the races the main attraction will be the The House of Peroni. The Mediterranean inspired Terrace Club will be alive with signature cocktails, street food and a bar. The perfect day will then be topped off with a DJ deck and an exclusive afterparty.
Whilst tickets are quickly running out there are still some available to be snapped up from just £49 and you can purchase them here.
