Raphael Varane wants Cristiano Ronaldo reunion at Al Nassr

Raphael Varane wants a move away from Manchester United as he hopes to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.

Varane has been contacted by Saudi Arabia officials over a proposed summer move to Al Nassr.

Man United received approaches from Saudi Arabia chiefs for Varane as well as Casemiro, who has been slammed by Jamie Carragher.

The Brazilian's future remains unclear, but reports suggest the French defender could leave Old Trafford next summer.

That's according to Football Transfers, who claim the 30-year-old wants a move to the Middle East to see out the final few years of his legendary career.

Casemiro was approached by Ronaldo's Al Nassr but Man United turned down their advances as they refused the sale of the 31-year-old.

Varane, on the other hand, has changed his stance, having previously expressed his desire to stay at Man United.

He turned down Al Ittihad's approach during the summer, but he's now had a change of heart following his side's slump this season.

It's believed that the former Real Madrid star is hoping to link up with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner for the third time in his career.

Varane is in his third season at Man United following his transfer from the La Liga giants in 2021.

He's played 72 games for the club, scoring two goals and helped his team win the Carabao Cup last season.
