Nate Diaz has told the UFC to book him against Dustin Poirier in a blockbuster clash, with the MMA stars going back and forth on social media.

Diaz and Poirier are both looking for their next UFC assignments following their defeats to Leon Edwards and Charles Oliveira respectively.
And it appears it'll be against each other in one of the stand out fights this year.
However, it seems like the UFC are slowing down in talks to match Diaz against Poirier, with Stockon's favourite son taking aim at the promotion.
He directed a tweet at Dana White and Co, asking them to stop playing with him and finalise the bout.
On Twitter, he wrote: "Stop playing wit me consider this my signature to fight this fucker I been trying to fight for a minute quit slowing down the real fight game it’s time."

Poirier also took to social media to publicly ask for the fight against Diaz.
He tweeted: "I'm gonna fight your ass."

In response to Diaz's tweet, he added: "The real fight game."

It's unclear what the hold up is considering White is down to make Diaz vs. Poirier.
Speaking last month, he said: "If that’s a fight that they want and the fans want to see, we’ll do it."
Diaz and Poirier were scheduled to meet back at UFC 230 back in November 2018 until injury scrapped the bout.
But, four years on, it appears we're getting closer to Diaz and Poirier finally facing off inside the Octagon.
