Manchester United transfer target Jeremie Frimpong would be "super excited" to join Erik ten Hag's side, Fabrizio Romano has claimed.
Frimpong is a right-back for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and the Netherlands national team.
This season he has registered five goals and three assists from 21 games playing at both right-back and right wing-back.
He is currently on international duty under former United boss Louis van Gaal in Qatar for the World Cup.
The 21-year-old is yet to make an appearance at senior level for the Netherlands but is attracting interest from United.
One thing many United supporters may not know about the right-back is that he spent nine years in Manchester City's academy.
He never made a professional appearance for City, however, he played regularly in the Premier League 2 and UEFA Youth League.

What has been said about the potential transfer?
Romano has been across the majority of United's most recent transfers and has recently been speaking to a United fan channel.
"Jeremie Frimpong dreams of playing Premier League football and would be “super excited” to join #mufc. His price tag is around €20-25M."
He then later went on to say: "Jeremie Frimpong is absolutely open to join to #mufc."
£50million signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka is yet to be seen at right-back under Ten Hag and earlier in the season, the United boss said the club need another player in that position.
"The development [of Dalot] is really good, but I have to mention that a club like Manchester United needs two good full-backs, because we have a lot of games to cover."
