Erik ten Hag might be about to end one player's Manchester United career if he signs Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey next year.
The Red Devils returned to winning ways against Fulham on Saturday, winning 1-0 at Craven Cottage thanks to Bruno Fernandes' late strike.
While the performance will help ease some of the pressure on Ten Hag, it will only go so far in masking United's dismal start to the new campaign.
Prior to their win at Craven Cottage, United suffered consecutive 3-0 defeats to local rivals Manchester City and Newcastle.

During their Carabao Cup loss to Newcastle, Diogo Dalot did not cover himself in glory and was at fault for two of the Magpies' first half goals.
The Portuguese right-back was unaware of Miguel Almiron's run in behind which subsequently gave Newcastle the lead. While he switched off for Lewis Hall's goal just eight minutes later.
Ten Hag had clearly seen enough by half-time and replaced Dalot with Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the break, who looked far more comfortable down the right-hand flank.
The Englishman has shared the responsibility with Dalot at right-back this season, with the manager clearly undecided over who is his first-choice in that position.
In the meantime, United have reportedly 'made enquiries' into the availability of Galatasaray right-back Boey, according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
The 23-year-old was part of the team that beat the Red Devils 3-2 in their Champions League group stage match last month.
Boey is out-of-contract at the Turkish club in June 2025 and is said to be stalling over the prospect of signing a new deal.
The Frenchman has already made 20 appearances this season and is likely to cost around €25 million (£21m), claim Turkish outlet Fotomac.
Although, his arrival could spell the end of the road for Dalot, with Wan-Bissaka widely expected to be handed a new deal, as per the Daily Mail.
However, United may face competition for from Premier League rivals Arsenal, who were heavily linked with the defender over the summer.
