Pep Guardiola in heated discussion with Darwin Nunez after Man City vs Liverpool

Pep Guardiola and Darwin Nunez were seen involved in a heated discussion at the end of Manchester City vs Liverpool.
Liverpool travelled to Manchester on Saturday afternoon looking to secure a victory that will take them top of the Premier League table.
During the first half an hour, the match was cagey but a mistake from Alisson Becker allowed Nathan Ake to play Erling Haaland in, the Norwegian tucked his shot into the bottom corner to give City a 1-0 halftime lead.

In the second half, Liverpool went in search of an equaliser but City scored in the 69 minute after Ruben Dias stabbed home from a corner.
However, after a VAR check, the goal was ruled out for a foul by Manuel Akanji on Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.
With 79 minutes on the clock, Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was wearing a pair of unreleased Adidas boots, dragged Liverpool level with a low-driven drive into the bottom of Ederson’s right-hand corner.
As the final whistle went, Nunez and Guardiola had to be separated as the pair exchanged words on the touchline.
Guardiola was seen gesturing towards the Liverpool striker whilst being held back by his backroom staff. Nunez meanwhile was dragged away by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, former England midfielder Izzy Christensen said: “I think Jurgen Klopp has done Pep Guardiola a favour there. I think that is frustration from Guardiola and fundamentally Liverpool are very happy with a point here.”
On the back of the 1-1 draw, City remain top of the Premier League as they hold a narrow one-point lead over Liverpool.
However, this has now opened the doors for Arsenal, who will go top if they manage to get all three points when they travel to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday evening to take on Thomas Frank's Brentford side.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur could climb above Liverpool if they beat Unai Emery's Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
