Jamie Carragher slammed one of the rules in place in the Premier League during Luton Town's 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
The Reds scored a stoppage time equaliser through Luis Diaz, who unveiled a message calling for the freeing of his father after he was kidnapped.
Tahith Chong had broken the deadlock for Luton with his first Premier League goal in the 80th minute.

Luton give a superb account of themselves at Kenilworth Road and were praised by Carragher, who felt they were a little hard done by at one point in the game.
Issa Kabore, who assisted Chong's goal, received treatment after picking up a knock.
The rules stipulate that a player cannot return to the pitch for another 30 seconds after treatment.
Yet it meant that Luton then had to defend a corner against Liverpool without Kabore and were therefore a man down, leading to Carragher stating: "This is wrong".
The Hatters did not concede from the set-play but plenty of other people had the same view as Carragher.
In fact, a Nottingham Forest fan was not happy that the rule was not applied later on when Alexis Mac Allister went down.
He wrote: "Kabore gets injured, receives treatment and has to go off for 30 seconds - to prevent fakers from faking injury... MacAllister goes down holding his head & forces play to be stopped. He doesn't have treatment because he's faking. He doesn't have to leave the field."
The rule was brought in ahead of the 2023/24 campaign and PGMOL chief Howard Webb explained it to Carragher and Neville.
He said: “The reason that rule exists… is because treatment has never been allowed on the field of play.”
Neville questioned the logic though, commenting: “Me and him go up for a header. I’ve got a bit of blood on my lip. You make me go off to change my shirt… I’ve got to wait an extra 25 seconds to come back on because you’ve sent me off the pitch.”
Webb responded: "Once you leave the field of play, you stay off for a period of time once the game restarts. 30 seconds.”
