Golf legend Tiger Woods and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James have been named as the two only active billionaire players across all sports.
One of the most prolific sports players of all time, Woods has forever etched his name in the history books by winning an incredible 15 major championships in his prolific career.
The 47-year-old American star captured his fifth Green Jacket at the 2019 Masters Tournament, with Woods only three major championships shy of record holder Jack Nicklaus.
James, much like Woods, has enjoyed a prolific sporting career and the LA Lakers forward has won an incredible four NBA championships and four NBA Finals MVP awards.

Forbes last month compiled the ‘12 new sports billionaires in 2023,’ with James and Woods both making the cut.
According to the publication, James has reached the $1bn mark thanks to his basketball earnings and investments.
Woods, on the other hand, narrowly edged out James after his golfing earnings and investments made him a cool $1.1bn.
Here are the 12 new sports billionaires in 2023, according to Forbes.

- Amy Adams Strunk (Tennessee Titans): $1.7bn
- Mark Davis (Las Vegas Raiders): $1.9bn
- David Blitzer (Cleveland Guardians, Crystal Palace, New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia 76ers and Pittsburgh): $1.9bn
- Larry Tanenbaum (Toronto FC, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors): $2bn
- Robert ‘Woody’ Johnson (Johnson & Johnson and New York Jets): $3.4bn
James, who is often placed in the conversation for one of the all-time greats, has insisted that he wants to be on the NBA court with his son before he retires from the sport.
“I need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny,” he said.
“Either in the same uniform or a matchup against him. I don’t mean like [guarding one another all game] -- because he’s a point guard and I’m at this point now I’m playing centre or whatever the team needs from me.
“But I would love to do the whole Ken Griffey Sr and Jr thing. That would be ideal for sure.”
