Jon Jones has had his say on Tom Aspinall's historic win over Sergei Pavlovich as rumours circulate around a possible match-up between the pair.
Aspinall became the third fighter in UFC history to win a championship at the UFC 295 event in New York.
It took the Englishman just 69 seconds to win his interim UFC heavyweight clash against Pavlovich after he connected with a big right hand before continuing to batter his opponent on the canvas.
The event also saw Alex Pereira beat Jiri Prochazka, Jessica Andrade knock out Mackenzie Dern and Benoit Saint-Danis land a vicious head-kick on Matt Frevola in front of a sold-out Maddison Square Garden.

Legendary UFC fighter Jon Jones has since responded to Aspinall's win, taking to social media to congratulate the 30-year-old.
He tweeted: "Tom congratulations on the interim heavyweight championship belt! That was an awesome performance!"
Aspinall, who has always spoken highly of Jones, was informed of the American's complimentary words during his post-match press conference and reaffirmed his desire for a fight.
"I've seen Jon talking nice stuff about me on a podcast as well, it's really nice," said Aspinall. "Obviously it's always nice to hear nice things about you, but from someone like that who I massively look up to, even more so.
"Thank you, Jon. Just give me the opportunity, John. Let me do it, give me my dream fight. Why not? I've just achieved my dream now. Give me my dream fight! Let me fight for my legacy now, please."
