Real Madrid bound Endrick punches opponent during match but somehow escapes punishment

Real Madrid's next Brazilian sensation Endrick somehow avoided punishment for punching an opponent.

After making his international debut against Colombia, the 17-year-old was back playing for Palmeiras against Fortaleza in Serie A on Sunday.

With just three games remaining, the league leaders scored a late leveller in a 2-2 draw after having Gustavo Gomez sent off.

In the 55th minute, with Palmeiras 1-0 down, the striker appeared to lashed out at Titi, who he was tussling with off the ball.

Titi went down clutching his face and required treatment from the physios, but Endrick did not even receive a yellow card when his actions were definitely within the realm of violent conduct.

Endrick going unpunished means he is available for Palmeiras in their huge clash against America MG on Thursday.

He scored 165 goals in 169 games at youth level before going on to notch nine in 28 in the league this year.

He will stay with Palmeiras before moving to Real when he turns 18 in July 2024, following the likes of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes.

"Endrick is very strong, very fast and has a brutal explosiveness," Rodrygo said on his compatriot in a press conference.

"He is very dangerous. He scored many goals in the juniors. He has to be very different to play here at the age of 17. We always talk, not just now. Sometimes he asks us things from there (Brazil) and now we're better being closer."
