Cristiano Ronaldo scored a crazy 'ghost goal' to give Al Nassr the lead against Al Ahli.
Al Nassr entered their Friday evening encounter hoping to make up ground in the Saudi Pro League title race against Al Ahli, who boast a squad of former Premier League superstars including Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and Allan Saint-Maximin.
And while Luis Castro's side headed into the match having won their last four league matches, Al Ahli had claimed five wins in six Saudi Pro League encounters this term.
But it was Al Nassr - and Ronaldo - that scored the opener, in what could turn out to be the strangest of the 732 club goals the Portuguese superstar has scored in his storied career.

Sadio Mane pounced on a mistake in the Al Ahli defence and fed Ronaldo, who galloped towards Edouard Mendy's goal.
However, the use of pyrotechnics in the stadium was such that the keeper and his goal were completely engulfed by layers of yellow smoke.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner passed the ball towards where he presumed the goal would be before wheeling away in celebration.

Anderson Talisca netted Al Nassr's second 13 minutes later, towering over his markers to nod home, while the Brazilian then fired home a rocket on the stroke of half-time. Meanwhile, Frank Kessie pulled one back for Al Ahli.
Ronaldo has now claimed eight goals from his six Saudi Pro League matches this term, while the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has registered four assists.
