The strict rules Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez must follow in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez will have to adhere to a number of strict in rules in Saudi Arabia after the five-time Ballon d'Or winner joined Al Nassr.

Ronaldo has signed an insane £173 million-a-year deal and was unveiled as an Al Nassr player last week.

He is expected to make his debut as part of a combined Al Nassr and Al Hilal in an exhibition bout against Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain on 19 January.

His family have joined him in the Middle East adventure but his other half Georgina will have to be aware of several regulations in place in the country.

While positive strides have been made in terms of the freedoms women have in the country but Rodriguez will still be restricted.

According to el Periodico, via the Express, the 28-year-old influencer will not be required to wear an abaya, the loose overgarment cloak, but must dress with dress with "modesty and decorum".

That means tight outfits with necklines and transparencies are not allowed and so a rethink in terms of attires might have to take place.

In addition, as a foreign woman, she is prohibited from importing or consuming alcohol or any pork products.

When the religious month of Ramadan comes around in March and April, the Argentine is banned from eating, drink or smoking in public places.

Falling foul of these rules could result in a hefty fine or even a prison sentence.

And finally, Rodriguez is also forbid from visiting some monuments and sacred places and would have to ask for permission to attend holy pilgrimages like Mecca and Medina.

There were concerns that as to whether Ronaldo and Rodriguez could live together in the country given they are not married and it is a strict law in Saudi.

However, Saudi authorities are set to "turn a blind eye" to the couple given their position.

Ronaldo and his full entourage have been staying at the Four Seasons hotel in Riyadh and occupying 17 rooms, with the 37-year-old enjoying the two-floor Kingdom Suite.
