Cristiano Ronaldo sends Francis Ngannou 'amazing' gift ahead of Tyson Fury fight after helping to set up event

Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a gift worth 'nearly half-a-million riyals' to Francis Ngannou ahead of his blockbuster showdown against Tyson Fury.

Ngannou takes on WBC world heavyweight champion Fury in a massive fight in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

It's his first outing since leaving the UFC, where he was the undisputed heavyweight champion following his victory over Ciryl Gane back in January 2022.

He left the MMA promotion in an effort to land a big fight in the boxing world as he targeted the likes of Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua.

But he landed arguably the No.1 heavyweight boxer in the world as he got matched up against the self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King'.

Fury vs. Ngannou is just days away and ahead of the Riyadh clash, Ronaldo has sent the French-Cameroonian a lavish gift.

The 37-year-old took to social media to post a video of himself being presented with the watch.

Ronaldo, who plies his trade in the Middle East with Al Nassr, played an unlikely roll making Fury vs Ngannou.

Ngannou met Ronaldo in January, where the former Manchester United and Real Madrid man convinced him The Kingdom "is the future" of sports.

"We had a good talk. He told me that Saudi [Arabia] is the future," he said.

"A lot of people doesn't understand now but they are changing really fast, it's moving really fast.

"And that's even what I personally, that was my feeling when I get there."

Ngannou added: "It was my first time going to Saudi and I was literally like, I didn't really know how to carry myself, how to behave myself.

"But I get there and find out that everything is cool.

"It was just like normal life. It's pretty cool, man."

Ronaldo could be ringside for Fury vs Ngannou.
