City ran out 4-1 winners in the FA Cup third round on Friday evening and one man who stood out is academy graduate Palmer.
The 19-year-old assisted Bernardo Silva for the opener before grabbing City's fourth with a lovely strike late in the game.
It's been a breakout season for Palmer, who has also scored in the Champions League, and his chat with ITV post-match shows he's a very down to earth lad.

He told Gabriel Clarke: "I enjoyed it on there. Rodo [Borrell, assistant manager] told me to stay wide, create things and that's what I tried to do. Luckily it paid off."
When reminded he's yet to score in the Premier League, Palmer immediately replied: "I know yeah delighted, Prem soon come but just gotta take it game by game, day by day, work my way up.
"There's always that pressure coming up, being young in a team but you've just gotta go out there, play your stuff and enjoy it."
City manager Pep Guardiola couldn't be on the touchline at the County Ground due to a bout with Covid.
Palmer was asked what he thought the manager would think of his performance from afar, but misheard the question and replied: "Who?"
After being told Guardiola, he continued: "Hopefully he enjoyed it. Just gotta keep working hard haven't I? Show what I can do day in, day out."
Fans have reacted to the interview and they're loving how 'Manc' it is for someone who is clearly wearing his heart on his sleeve.
One commented: "Young English players who aren’t media robots make interviews 100x better."
Another added: "Tell me you are from Manchester without telling me you are from Manchester."
While a third put: "Let this lad do every post-match interview for City, great viewing."
Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan also got on the scoresheet at City eased into the fourth round draw despite seven players self-isolating due to Covid protocols.
An amazing goal from Cole Palmer 💫
