Bayern Munich are said to be 'on the verge' of signing highly-rated teenage forward Nestory Irankunda in a record-breaking deal from Adelaide United.
The 17-year-old Australia youth international has been making headlines down under.
After making his much-anticipated A-League debut for Adelaide in January 2022, aged just 15 years and 333 days, the pacey winger has already made 38 appearances under Carl Veart.
His explosive pace will always be recognised as one of the teenager's biggest strengths; not to mention his dribbling ability and fearlessness when it comes to taking on defenders.
But as you can see from the footage below, it's Irankunda's ball-striking ability that has really impressed fans since his breakthrough season at the Coopers Stadium. He only scores bangers.

"The lad might have the best ball-striking I’ve ever seen… what on earth is this?" said one fan, while another commented: "He’s 15/16 for half these goals and 17 for the other half. The amount of power he has at that age is ridiculous. Easily our best talent for sure."
A third added: "Wow. He hits every ball like it’s Jabulani."
It looks like Irankunda will soon be able to showcase his talents in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the German side are closing in on deal to sign the highly-rated winger after a fee of £3 million plus add-ons was verbally agreed.
If the deal goes through, the 17-year-old will become the most expensive transfer in A-League history, surpassing Marco Tilio’s €1.75 million [£1.5m] move to Celtic in June.

Adelaide United teammate Ryan Tunnicliffe, who graduated through Manchester United's academy, is a huge fan of the Tanzania-born forward.
“I think he’s got a really good chance of being a top, top player,” Tunnicliffe said.
“He’s got all the athleticism that you need to be a top player. He’s got the natural ability, the one-on-one skills of a striker, so I think if he gets the mental side of it right, listens to the older boys in the team and keeps his feet on the ground, I think the world is his oyster.
“It’s up to us as a group to keep his feet on the ground and let him play with freedom.”
